INPhINIT is an International PhD Fellowships Programme funded by "la Caixa" and devoted to attracting international early-stage researchers to top Spanish and Portuguese research centres. Sponsored by ”la Caixa” Foundation, it is aimed at supporting the best scientific talent and fostering innovative and high-quality research in Spain and Portugal by recruiting outstanding international students and offering them an attractive and competitive environment for conducting research of excellence.  The programme is divided into two different frames:

Doctorate INPhINIT Incoming: This frame is addressed exclusively to STEM disciplines: life sciences and health, experimental sciences, physics, chemistry and mathematics. Candidates must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in Spain for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the call deadline. MALHOTRA Lab - Project: Understanding tissue fibrosis by hypersecretion of collagens and mucins

NOVOA Lab - Project: Dissecting the role of RNA modifications in diet-induced intergenerational inheritance using nanopore sequencing

SEBÉ-PEDRÓS Lab - Project: Investigating animal cell type diversity and regulation using single cell genomics approaches

SURREY Lab - Project: Reverse engineering mitotic kinase control of microtubule cytoskeleton organization

 

Doctorate INPhINIT Retaining: This frame is addressed to any discipline and any university or research center in Spain or Portugal.  Candidates must  have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in Spain for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the call deadline.
