Workflow management systems such as Nextflow are particularly powerful and enable the construction of an increasing number of reproducible workflows. However, despite the large number of available workflows, their reuse - whether in whole or in part - remains limited. Workflows are complex pieces of code, and understanding or adapting them is often challenging.
In the ShareFAIR project, our goal is to make workflows more reusable. To this end, we propose (1) techniques for exploring workflow code with MetroFlow, to visualize and semi-automatically document workflows in an interactive way, and (2) information extraction methods from text to better align the content of the workflow code with its description in the associated publication.
