Microomics Seminar - 23rd September - Join to Learn About an Interesting Job Opportunity

Sala Aula, 4a Planta PRBB

Microomics, a CRG spin-off company focused on metagenomics analysis using cutting-edge metagenomics and bioinformatics technologies will visit CRG on the 23rd September to give a seminar. Founded in 2017 by Pedro Gonzalez and Toni Gabaldon, Microomics provides advanced metagenomic services for academia, healthcare, agri-food, and biotech, supporting R&D projects with high-resolution insights into microbial communities. Drawing on expertise developed at CRG, the company has grown into a recognized player in the microbiome field, delivering data-driven solutions for translational and applied research and will deliver a talk describing their journey from its birth to where it is today, the challenges, the highs and the lows and some key messages for those thinking of starting a company!
It is also a time of change at the company, with Jordi Navarro recently appointed CEO and they are hiring; a specialized role at the interface between business development and science which they will explain in the seminar (job ad attached). This is an interesting opportunity for those looking to transition to industry without yet having commercial experience. Please join us to learn more!

Register here to the seminar using this form. Please note, if you register and attend the seminar, we will share your contact details with Microomics for follow up after the event (note: this does not guarantee a formal interview but the chance to have your CV reviewed).
