Johannes Jaeger awarded the SEB President's Medal

JOHANNES JAEGER AWARDED THE SEB PRESIDENT'S MEDAL
The Society for Experimental Biology aims to promote and increase the influence of Experimental Biology, within the scientific community and society. The SEB President's Medals are awarded annually to young scientists of outstanding merit. The awards are presented at the Annual Main Meeting of the Society - taking place this year in Valencia, Spain from the 3rd - 6th July 2013. There is one award per section of the Society (Animal; Cell; Plant; Education & Public Affairs).
CRG researcher Johannes Jaeger, group leader of the Comparative Analysis of Developmental Systems at the EMBL/CRG Systems Biology Research Unit, has been awarded the 2013 SEB President's Medal in the Cell Section.
The other winners of the 2013 SEB President's Medal awards are:

  • John Terblanche (Stellenbosch University) - Animal Section
  • Ian Henderson (University of Cambridge) - Plant Section
  • Sara Marsham (Newcastle University) - Education & Public Affairs Section.
