Eppendorf and the CRG support PhD students.

The biotech company Eppendorf and the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG), will jointly assist the training of young researchers.

With an agreement recently signed, this year the CRG will host the Eppendorf Award for the best doctoral thesis. Researchers who had read their thesis during 2011/2012 are eligible for the award. Each CRG research program will select the best proposals, and a selection committee, made up of several group leaders will choose the winning thesis.

The winner will be granted with an all-paid trip to any international conference of their choice (up to € 2,000).

With this initiative, Eppendorf and the CRG want to encourage the work of young students and reward the best work by assessing their quality, the results applications, and the impact of publications related to their research.
