Annual Proteomics Symposium: Applying Proteomics to Life Sciences

PRBB Auditorium

Organized by: the CRG/UPF Proteomics Unit and Societat Catalana de Biologia

Symposium Overview:

The Proteomics Symposium jointly organised by CRG and Societat Catalana de Biologia focuses on the application of innovative mass spectrometric techniques to different aspects of life sciences. This year several high-profile invited speakers will present their recent research results in the deciphering of cell signalling events, the use and requirements of proteomics in clinical projects, and the elucidation of host-virus interactions, among others"

Workshops

  • "Achieving the utmost DIA performance by using Orbitrap mass spectrometry platform and Spectronaut software" by Thermo
André C. Mueller, Thermo Fisher Scientific
    Lukas Reiter, Biognosys
Description: In this workshop you will learn how to set up successful DIA experiments on Thermo Orbitrap instruments and process it through Spectronaut™. We will share details and important considerations towards method optimization, creation of high quality spectral libraries, data quality check and quantification accuracy. Several applications will be presented covering global proteomics, targeted proteomics and PTM analysis.
  • "Beyond SWATH, focusing on what matters” Thomas Knapman, Business Development: Academia/OMICS by Sciex

Organizers:
Eduard SABIDÓ, Centre for Genomic Regulation, Barcelona ES
