THIS CALL IS NOW CLOSED

Mission

The CRG supports women scientists who have the ambition and potential to reach a leading position in research and have to fulfil maternity responsibilities at the same time.

Background

Being scientifically successful demands often flexible working hours which are a particular challenge for parents. Studies show that especially women are the ones who give up consequently their scientific career1. By providing extra financial support that the awardee can use in her best interest e.g. for extra day-care and babysitting hours, CRG wants to enable excellent women scientists to follow their passion in research and reduce the barriers they encounter to develop into a leader in their field.
