INTERNAL COURSE: INTRODUCTION TO HPC part 1 and 2- New
On-line course
This is a new course for the beginners at HPC. Following topics will be addressed:
- Introduction to HPC and Computing Clusters
- Connecting to the CRG and CNAG clusters
- Use of bash and the command line (linux primer)
- Using the batch systems to submit jobs including use of job arrays and job dependencies
- Efficient use of storage on the cluster
- Use of git and terminal editors to improve productivity
