However, emerging work has revealed the critical role of post-transcriptional gene regulation in promoting transformation and cancer progression. In this lecture, Dr. Hsieh will present mechanistic work describing new ways in which protein synthesis is hijacked in human malignancies and may represent a druggable vulnerability.
