Mara Dierssen receives the 2014 David and Hillie Mahoney Award for an Individual's Contribution to Outreach Award

The 2014 David and Hillie Mahoney Award for an Individual's Contribution to Outreach is given to Mara Dierssen, head of the Cellular & Systems Neurobiology group at the CRG. Congratulations Mara!

The award objective is to reward "an individual who has significantly contributed to the promotion of brain awareness, through continued public outreach efforts for a period of three or more years."

The award is also known as the Dana/EDAB Neuroscience Outreach Champion Award.
