Science Art Summit "Watch Party"

Ever wonder how to unite your passion for Art and Science?

The Dexheimer Lab organizes this year's Science Art Summit, where 6 scientists will share their work, creative process and artistic-career path in 15-minute short talk. At the end, there will be a Q&A panel discussion, so you can directly ask all the burning questions on your mind straight to the artists! There's gonna be balloons, sculptures, comics, animations, illustrations & installations. Also ... Its's free!!!!

Thus, the CRG Training and Academic Office decided to unite all PRBB residents interested in the intersection of Science and Art to come and watch together the Science Art Summit. Coffee and cookies will be included.

This year invited speakers are:

• Mesa Schumacher, Natural science illustrations: "Launching a Freelance Studio"
• Pedro Veliça aka Pedromics, Science comics: "Communicating Science with Comics"
• Queralt Tolosa, PhD, Animations & Design (CRG alumni!): "Bridging Science & Design"
• Dr. Chloe Lim, Science Balloons: "Buidling a Portfolio Career"
• Bryan Welm, Metal sculptures: "From Academia to Science Sculptures"
• Philipp Dexheimer, Handmade installations: "Analog Science Art" 

Recordings will be made available to every registered participant.

2. If you want to attend the watch party in person, you must also register HERE.

Target audience: Open to all PRBB!! whether you're a researcher, science communicator, artist, or just a human with interest in the intersection of Science & Art
